ABOUT PCSI

The Pediatric Cardiac Society of India (PCSI) is a pioneering organization that has been at the forefront of paediatric cardiology since its inception in 1999. Our mission is to ensure the provision of equitable, high-quality healthcare for children with heart diseases in India, thereby reducing disparities in healthcare access and outcomes. Our focus is multifaceted and encompasses areas such as research, education, academic activities, and advocacy. We relentlessly pursue world-class excellence in these areas to stay at the leading edge of paediatric cardiac care. We believe in breaking down barriers and providing quality care to all children, regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds. The PCSI encourages a collaborative environment where physicians, nurses, researchers, and other healthcare professionals can work together seamlessly. This multidisciplinary approach allows us to create tailored treatment plans that meet the unique needs of our young patients. Innovation is woven into the fabric of our society. We continuously push the boundaries of what’s possible in paediatric cardiac care, driving the development of new techniques and treatments. Simultaneously, we place a high premium on education, striving to cultivate the next generation of paediatric cardiologists through comprehensive training programs, workshops, and seminars.  We also advocate vigorously for the cause of paediatric cardiac care at all levels. Our advocacy ranges from influencing healthcare policy and legislation to raising public awareness about children’s heart health. Furthermore, we maintain the highest ethical standards in all our operations, ensuring transparency and accountability in every decision we make. Ultimately, our vision is to be recognized as one of the top ten academic societies for Paediatric Cardiology worldwide. Guided by our core values, we remain steadfast in our dedication to improving the lives of children with heart diseases in India. With PCSI, you can be assured of our unwavering commitment to excellence, equity, and the well-being of every child under our care.
